The kitesurfing school of The Spot in Zandvoort is the only one in the Netherlands that is TUV certified. This means you are assured of safety, quality and professionalism during your kitesurfing class. In addition, we have all the necessary permits and insurance.
At The Spot, we offer a variety of kitesurfing classes; both for those who want to give kitesurfing a try with an introductory class, and for those who really want to learn kitesurfing with a class package!
The kitesurfing class is a group class with up to 3 people, but you can also book private classes. Are you unsure which kitesurfing class is best for you? Feel free to contact us, we will be happy to give you more information!
Kite group class
Anyone can learn to kite! In 3 to 5 classes, you’ll be making the first strides on your board.
Do you opt for the group class? Then we will group you with other students of your level.
You will learn all the ins & outs of this crazy water sport. We keep track of your progress in your kite passport. Is your passport full? Then you can independently and safely brave the water!
What can you expect?
From kite control to learning to body-drag. Your first water start and first metres on the board. But safety comes first! We adjust the steps you make per class to your individual level. You will learn the necessary safety skills and knowledge about wind, equipment, the sea and your surroundings!
What does it cost?
- € 450,- p.p. – 5-class package
- € 285,- p.p. – 3-class package
- € 99,- per single class
Daily classes:
- We provide several kite classes daily and schedule them according to the wind forecast!

Kite private for 2
Do you want to learn to kite and do you know someone with the same starting level? Then sign up for the private kite class for 2 and accelerate your learning curve through more personal attention!

Prefer a little more personal attention during your kitesurfing class? Then private kitesurfing classes are very appropriate! Personal attention from your instructor allows us to be adjust 100% to your individual learning curve!
Even if you already have kite experience, the private class offers a solution! Learn to kite at sea, for example, or refresh your skills after you haven’t been for a while!

WHAT’S IN THE SKILL CLINIC?
We make a plan based on your wishes and level. This may include jumping, riding the surf and riding waves, but also learning tips & tricks to improve your posture, for example! Ideal for advanced students with specific needs so we can really adjust to your level and personal learning needs!

The new hype, of course, is kitefoiling! Book a skill clinic to master the first steps in this crazy discipline of kiting!
